Simon Adams

Direct, outgoing, curious, open and a little stubborn - that is how I would describe myself. My friends often call me "the walking encyclopedia," because I always have a “fun fact” locked and loaded on a wide variety of subjects. This curiosity helps me in my work - I have a burning desire to understand the world and the people in it. I enjoy learning about organizations, as well as understanding who you are and what motivates you.
Prior to my current position at Independent Recruiters, I garnered experience in a few different fields. I grew up in Asia and started my career at an NGO. From 2005 I worked in Germany as an (English) language and intercultural trainer for several corporations (incl. Airbus, Bosch and Siemens).
In 2014 I moved to the Netherlands and specialized in German/Dutch-English translations and worked as an English language editor, mainly for academic institutions.
In 2022 I decided to take up a new challenge, and develop myself in Recruitment.
